Made for every ride, from the very first one.

Is your saddle making every ride feel longer?

You know the feeling. A narrow, hard saddle that you keep shifting on, a few minutes standing on the pedals to give yourself a break, and a hope that it will get easier with time. It rarely does.

The CushionRide Comfort Bike Saddle is a complete replacement saddle with a wide, ergonomic shape, a central cut-out and thick memory foam padding. You simply swap it in and ride.

Why this works differently

Many comfort add-ons are covers that sit on top of your old saddle and can slide around. CushionRide replaces the saddle itself, so the padding, the shape and the shock absorption all come as one firm, stable seat.

The biggest difference: three things working together. A wide seat with a central cut-out, about 5 cm of soft padding, and shock absorbers underneath that take the edge off bumps and cobbles.

How it's built

Five layers work together. A water-resistant PU leather cover (a synthetic leather) sits over thick, springy memory foam. Under that is a soft silicone layer that takes the buzz out of rough surfaces, a reinforced base that keeps the shape, and two shock-absorbing dampers beneath the saddle. A central air channel lets air move through, and non-slip textured panels help you stay where you want to be.

Why you'll love it

  • Soft and wide: about 5 cm of memory foam padding gives you plenty of cushioning under you.
  • Central cut-out: an ergonomic channel down the middle for a more comfortable seat.
  • Shock absorbing: a silicone layer and two dampers underneath soften bumps and rough surfaces.
  • Air channel: built-in ventilation so the seat doesn't feel closed in on longer rides.
  • Water-resistant cover: ready for wet weather, and easy to wipe clean.
  • Built-in rear reflector: a red passive reflector at the back, with no batteries needed.
  • Textured panels: a non-slip honeycomb surface to help you stay put.
  • Quick to fit: universal rails and the tools included, usually done in about 5 minutes.

Not happy? We'll sort it out

If something isn't right, our customer service team is here to help. Email us at hello@blissado.com and we'll think along with you to find a solution, for example if you're unsure about fitting it to your bike. And if it still isn't for you, you have 30 days to change your mind and send it back.

Will it fit your bike?

It fits: standard bikes, hybrids, city bikes and traditional upright bikes, and regular e-bikes with a standard saddle clamp. Many exercise bikes with a standard seatpost are suitable too.

It doesn't fit: mountain bikes, road bikes, triathlon or time-trial bikes (including electric ones), or bikes with a suspension seatpost.

The saddle has 7 mm round steel rails and comes with a saddle clamp for plain round seatposts. If your bike has an integrated or brand-specific clamp head, check it can hold standard 7 mm rails before you order. If you're not sure, email us with your bike model and we'll help.

How to fit it

  1. Remove the old saddle. Loosen the bolt or bolts under it and slide the saddle out of the clamp.
  2. Fit the new one. Slide the rails into your seatpost clamp, or fit the saddle clamp from the box. Don't go past the MAX marking on the rails.
  3. Set it level. Use a spirit level if you can, then slide the saddle forwards or backwards to find a comfortable distance from the handlebars.
  4. Tighten up. Tighten the bolts firmly (15 to 18 Nm is recommended) and check the saddle can't move or tilt.

Tip: a good saddle height is where your leg is almost straight with your heel on the pedal at its lowest point.

When you'll use it

On the daily commute, the school run, trips to the shops, and relaxed weekend rides along canal paths and country lanes. Anywhere you want to be comfortable for longer.

Who it's for, and who it's not

Great for you if you ride an upright, city, hybrid or electric bike for commuting, errands or leisure rides anywhere in the UK, and you want a softer, wider seat.

Less suitable if you ride a mountain bike, road bike or racing bike, or you prefer a slim, lightweight performance saddle.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a full saddle or a seat cover?
It's a complete saddle. It replaces your existing saddle rather than sitting on top of it, so there's nothing to slip or bunch up.

Will it fit my bike?
It fits most standard bikes, hybrids, city bikes and e-bikes with a normal saddle clamp, using the 7 mm round steel rails. It's not suitable for mountain bikes, road bikes, triathlon or time-trial bikes (including electric ones), or bikes with a suspension seatpost.

What tools do I need to fit it?
A 13 or 15 mm spanner and an Allen key are included in the box. Most people are done in about 5 minutes.

Can I leave it out in the rain?
The cover is water-resistant, so it's fine for riding in wet weather. Wipe it dry with a cloth afterwards, and use the saddle cover from the box if the bike will be left outside for a long time.

What is PU leather?
It's a synthetic leather: a polyurethane coating on a fabric base. It's not real leather, and it's easy to wipe clean.

Does it have a reflector?
Yes. There's a red passive reflector built into the back of the saddle. It needs no batteries or charging, but it doesn't replace the lights your bike needs after dark.

Do I need to get used to it?
It's designed to feel comfortable from the first ride. As with any new saddle, set it level and adjust the position forwards or backwards on the rails to suit you.

How do I clean it?
Wipe it with a damp cloth after use. Please avoid harsh cleaning products.
